Not Good News....Not Bad News

Today we heard from our facilitator that our dossier submission date is actually June 9th instead of June 2nd.  Something must have happened in translation -- literally!  We are still so confused in how this whole thing is going to work out with respect to the age issue with Jim.  Hopefully our facilitator is steering us in the right direction.  Between watching the FRUA boards and talking to my dear friend, M__, we don't know what to think.  Do we have all of the right documents over there?  Do we need to hurry up and change some of the stuff?  Or do we just hope and pray that we are in a good position and being directed with the proper information?  The whole thing is just a crap shoot.  It's amazing how much you can do and wonder if you are doing everything and covering every possible obstacle -- this has consumed me!  Once again, thank God for friends.  When I was talking to my friend this afternoon, who is also on the Ukraine ride, it's nice to be able to communicate and bounce ideas off of each other.  Who else, in their right mind would understand this whole thing??????  One additional week of waiting for submission, one more week or getting word on a travel date and one more week of pure insanity!  Until next time, Heather (Jim too, but he isn't crazy like me :)

Hang in there. You're right. Adopting from Ukraine is not for the faint of heart...but the experience is sooooo worth it! :)

May God continue to grant you peace for this journey! We are waiting with you! This is our second adoption and we still have to remind ourselves it's all in God's hands!
