Thank God for Friends

As this ride continues, it's amazing the great things that come our way.  I've been so fortunate to become friends with another family that is waiting to adopt.  They don't post -- they stay in the background and watch and have paid a significant amount of attention to the whole process.  I'm amazed by what I've learned from my new friend -- you know who you are.  They are attempting their second trip to Ukraine to fulfill the adoption that they have been so patient in trying to accomplish.  I value you and appreciate you, my new friend.  It's amazing -- we've never met in person but we've instantly bonded as we are both trying to accomplish this adoption process that has consumed us.  I'm so thankful for my friends and family.  However, unless you are in this yourself or have gone through this situation it is impossible to understand.  I truly believe as those of us going through this process that we need to embrace each others situations and try to help each other along the way.  We are all in this to accomplish the same goal and we should ban together during this somewhat trying and uncertain time.   I wish you all the best of luck, Heather

Adoption is very hard, I know...this is our fourth time doing it. I wish you the very best in your journey.

You're so right. International adoption is not for the faint of heart! (We just finished our fourth as well) Hang in there.

God bless you and your decision to adopt. My husband and I adopted in December from Ukraine. We are actually thinking of trying again soon. Our daughter is wonderful and I wish the same for you. Have faith!!!
