As the Stomach Turns!

Today was the day.  The day we were supposed to have our dossier submitted.  At 2:15 am, my time, I woke up out of a deep sleep with a pit in my stomach feeling like something just wasn't right.  My husband calls me psycho instead of psychic.  I guess sometimes you just know when something isn't going well.  So, at 2:15 it was 10:15 am in Ukraine.  Thinking our facilitator is right in the middle of our submission and something isn't right.  I was able to lay restless in bed until 5:15 and then instantly ran to my PDA to check my email and was not surprised to find and email from him.  He proceeded to indicate that we needed to make some additional modifications in our dossier and that we were given a reprieve until June 26th to submit.  So, I guess it's not bad news.  But, this waiting is killing us.  Just so that we can wait for something more and something more after that.  In the end, we know that this will all be worth the endless tasks that we have to accomplish to become parents and it will all be worth it!  So, we'll be on the road tomorrow getting the revisions completed that need to be done and sent back over there.  We'll be in touch as soon as we know more!  With best wishes, Heather

Welcome to the roller coaster ride that is Ukraine adoption! It's just the nature of the beast. lol

It's good that you have another chance to submit. You'll get there.

We had a time getting our daughter home from the home study on. Nonstop fun!! Now she's been home for eight weeks and we are thinking about when we can go back. lol You can see pics of her on our blog.

It is all worth it in the end. It just drives you crazy getting there:0

BTW - I'm a friend of Ann G's in TX:)

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKs!!! But I am glad to hear that they are giving you time to re-do the documents. That is a good thing that they did not make you wait in again another line. Best of luck in the resubmission. It was all be good in the end :-) Monica
